Mini! Glee – Grades 1 to 3, Ages 6 to 8

ABOUT
KW Glee’s popular Mini! group is accepting applications for the waiting list for next term. Performers aged 6 to 8 (grades 1-3 in Fall 2023) are welcome to take part in this group.
AUDITIONS
No auditions are required for this young age bracket. We are offering a spot to our current Minis in the next term. If spots become available, we will work our way down the waiting list.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
There are three Mini! groups:
11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Nightingales Group)
12:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (Canaries Group)
1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. (Starlings Group)
Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays on the following dates:
February 3, 10, 17, 24
March 2, (9 off for March Break), 16, 23, (30 off for Easter)
April 6, 13, 20, 27
May 4
SHOW WEEK SCHEDULE
Final Run-through on Saturday, May 4
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (extended rehearsal time)
Our final concert will be on Sunday, May 5 in the evening at the Humanities Theatre in Waterloo. This concert is shared between the development classes and our Mini! group.
Show Day Schedule – Sunday, May 5
- 4:30 p.m. Arrival at the Humanities Theatre
- 5:00 pm. to 6:30 p.m. Dress Rehearsal on stage
- 6:30 p.m. Audience arrives while performers eat dinner
- 7:00 p.m. Performance
- 8:15 p.m. Done
