In Memory of Logan Brideau

It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Logan Brideau, a cherished member of our KW Glee family. He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the age of 20.

Logan was a vibrant soul, an extraordinary singer and dancer, and above all, an incredible friend and human being. He was a treasured member of both the Junior and Senior groups for many years. His presence was a beacon of light, and he brought levity, empathy, and energy to every room he entered.

Logan’s talent was truly remarkable. On stage, his joy was palpable, captivating audiences and inspiring his fellow performers. Off stage, he was wildly inventive, growing and selling his own brand of microgreens called “Logan’s Harvest,” designing his own escape room, and engaging in countless exciting projects. His creativity knew no bounds, and his kindness was unparalleled. Logan’s heart of gold touched everyone he met, making him beloved by all.

Our hearts are heavy with this loss, and we extend our deepest condolences to Logan’s family and friends. We share in your grief and pain. Logan, your memory will live on in our hearts and voices. We love you so much, and will miss you more than words can express.

Logan’s final KW Glee performance was part of a quintet of “Hallelujah” in Term 20, which received a resounding standing ovation. Watch it below. We have also gathered some photos of Logan’s journey with us.

At the request of his family, we have set up a donation account for a KW Glee scholarship to be named in Logan’s honour.

This performance features Cole Allen, Alek Hrazburg, Logan Brideau, Henry Walker, and Gabe Long.
